Parents of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) describe that their children habits improve when they eat a gluten free diet. Grains such as wheat, barley, dairy products; casein all contain Gluten. However the point of debate is that does truly gluten free diet improves behavior, is it backed by evidence or is a misnomer?
Well, the answer is that there is no harm in trying a gluten free diet but parents should be aware of the dietary requirements of children and ensure that the child is taking adequate amount of nutrition.
